Established originally on nearby Biggar Bank, the Club moved to its present location in 1880. The 18 hole course comprises 6 outward holes, 6 inward holes and the final 6 holes alternating in each direction. This layout coupled with a varying sea breeze provides an interesting and challenging test for all categories of golfer.
